Miss kerala 2010


Indu Thambi from Thiruvananthapuram won the miss kerala 2010 title at beauty pageant held on 5th aug 2010 at Le Meridian Kochi.Indu was crowned by Archana Nair, Miss Kerala 2009.

1st Runner up – Manju Raj from Shornur, Palakad

2nd Runner Up – Sonal Devraj from Kannur

Manju Raj hails from Palakkad and is the daughter of T.N Rajendran and Saji Rajendran. She is also doing her PG in English Literature.

Sonal Devaraj is a Management graduate student and is the daughter of K.M Devaraj and Vidhya Devaraj.

There were 22 contestents in the final round of the Miss Kerala.Most of the Contestants were of Indian origin but hailing from Malaysia, Australia and Dubai.

American Malayalee Archana Nair won the Miss Kerala-2009 title organized by Impresario Event Management Company in at Le-Meridian international convention Center on August 5th night.
First Runner-up - Geethu Christie
second-runner - Bonnie Mary Matthew
There were 21 contestents in the final round of the Miss Kerala.



Archana Nair is the Daugher of Dr.Appukkuttan nair and Latha Nair , Archana is a Bio-engineering student at Stanford University of Califonia.
Geethu is a B-com student in Thiruvananthapuram All saints college and Bonnie Mary is a communicative English student in Cochi.

Parvathy Omanakuttan Nair is the reigning “Miss India World 2008”. The same crown once worn by Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, before she went on to become Miss World.

Earlier Parvathy Omankuttan from kerala was crowned "Pantaloons Femina Miss India World 2008". She is the First Keralite to have won both the Titles.


She was born in 1988, is 5' 8.5" tall and has vital statistics of 32-27-36.She is originally from Changanacherry - Kottayam, Kerala and now lives in Mumbai.

During the Questions & Answers round of the contest, she was asked about the rate of divorce in India, whether the reason for the rise was due to western cultural influences and the following answer won her the judge’s vote:


"Divorces are not a result of western influence. At the end of the day, it is we who decide whose worth us. Marriage is not when one completes the other but is when both share their completeness." For another question, "What’s the nicest gift a woman can give a man?" she has answered "The best gift a woman can ever give a man is the birth of a child with all her compassion and patience."

The Grand Finale of Vivel Miss Kerala 2008 . . . the most glamorous event of all was held at Le Meridian Convention Centre, Cochin on 11th July 2008.

Miss Kerala 2008 is Shree Thulasi Mohan from Kannur. Shree Tulasi has a degree in Fine arts. Rima Kallingal from thrissur is the Runner Up and Kochi's Ann Joseph who is a plus one student is the second runner up. Ann Joseph is the youngest participant in the Miss Kerala 2008 Beauty contest.
